When I was a child, I had a strong desire to attend English education but my family could not afford to pay for this privilege. I vowed to some-day help other children in Choueng Ek village who had the same misfortune. In 2001 I began renting Toul Ampil public school to start English tutoring for poor children in my village. I am very proud to offer language lessons to these children who are eager to learn but could otherwise not afford this opportunity. Thank you for your support! .

During a journey in Indochina, I got in touch with Toul Ampil and its founder Kakada Chhim. I was fascinated by the student's discipline and the willingness to learn as well as the enthusiasm of the teaching staff, especially Kakada Chhim. Access to education is really important to get a chance at the local job market which also increases autonomy and freedom. I’m involved in this project because I believe that helping young people and communities helping themselves is the most sustainable way of support.

Education is the key to a better future. Based on the history of the country I was surprised how focused the people in Cambodia look forward. Unfortunately, the education system is not as good as it should be. Therefore, I’m happy to see what Kakada is doing for his village and his country. This way I help him and his school as good as I can.
